Have a good shot of a Ingot Silver Fiesta ST? Post it here. Can be yours, or any cool pic you find.

Hello all! New to the forum. I am really enjoying my FiST. I test drove a hot orange one but fell in love and settled with the silver one.

So far I have add a hood decal with red piping to match the logo. Added some rims with matching red stripes. I found some ST metal decals (Japan) that I added next to the back windows on the left and right side.

No engine or interior upgrades yet. I only added the ST rubber floor mats.

I uploaded a few pics from my garage (I will add better ones later).

Glad to be a new member....you all rock!

I actually like all the colors. Green and Orange really stand out and draw your attention. At the time Orange and Silver were the only ones available where I bought mine. I guess I am more of a traditionalist. I will say that everyone at Ford who services my car loves the FiST. The sales manager told me that the ST models tend to become collectors items because they only make so many. I could see myself owning my ST.....forever. I love them!

There is an exception to that rule though. Between 2005 and 2007, there was a U.S. version of the Ford Focus ZX4 that was called an ST. That, my friend, is not likely to be a seen as a "collectible" candidate. Hah. You never know about these Fiesta STs.

Silver blends into traffic. It's more about the "go" than the "show". If a constable spots an orange one driven vigorously, its easy for him to find it, whereas a if he takes his eyes off a silver one for a second, it becomes just another silver car among many. Same with white, but my past two cars were white and I was tired of it.

So, here's what I like about sliver cars. When a car has interesting architectural kinds of highlights (fender bulge, rocker panel whatever things, etc.), they seem to stand out more on silver cars in various lighting situations due to shadow effects compared with other colors. I like that effect. I've had 2 black and 4 silver cars (Fiesta will be #5). My Audi S4 wagon is black. I love that car, but it's a little like a sink hole for light, whereas the silver bodied cars seem to show off the intended bends and curves in any lighting. Your photo in post #45 is a good example of what I mean. In black, you'd see practically none of the shadow and shape evident in the photo.

Hello all! I bought (leased to own) my FiST about a week ago. It is the base model, no recaros, no navigation. It's the Ingot Silver and it is beautiful! My first new car and my first silver car. I have some pics of when I got it at the dealership. They had black and white but the silver caught my eye, and it helped it was the cheapest.

Frankenfiesta finally landed in my driveway this afternoon. While plans for this little car are nowhere near as radical as with its predecessor Focustein, there are some changes coming. It will, after all, make the occasional visit to local closed circuit road courses here in the Pacific Northwest with my car club pals. I've decided though to run on Dunlop DZIIs rather than NT01s (or any R-comps) while staying stock with both the brakes (except pads and fluid) and suspension. I'd like to keep the car civil for the street and purely recreational at the track. That strategy feels more "age appropriate" I reckon at this point.

5/23/15 Update: I lied. I'm running NT01s for track wheel rubber. And: LOTS of changes to this car (Quaife, BC coilovers, XP8 pads, MP215, etc. documented in a build thread at the other forum).
