Broke my Cobb Knob in two...

    My 1st Cobb Knob was also defective. On warm days say 22degs C or more, the knob portion would spin freely from the secured base. Temps colder than that, it was nice & secure. Strangest thing. Cobb promptly sent me a replacement, and its been smooth shifting since then :)

    My cobb knob does the same thing. Spins freely on the base, and when hot pulls up bit does not come off the base.

    I was under the impression that this is how it was. Ian, would you like me to email you pics?
