Thanks to Ian @COBB they are sending me out a replacement knob, very cool stuff!
My 1st Cobb Knob was also defective. On warm days say 22degs C or more, the knob portion would spin freely from the secured base. Temps colder than that, it was nice & secure. Strangest thing. Cobb promptly sent me a replacement, and its been smooth shifting since then
My cobb knob does the same thing. Spins freely on the base, and when hot pulls up bit does not come off the base.
I was under the impression that this is how it was. Ian, would you like me to email you pics?
