Any one know how much the FiST bumper cover is? Does is come painted?

I had an unfortunate incident with a fox that has cracked the cover near the intercooler grill.

My deductible is high enough that I will likely be paying out of pocket.:(

Wonder what autocross cones will do?

The GTI hit a bunch of them and had no problems but a buddy's Ha YUN Dai Genesis broke all to hell...

I don't know. I suppose hitting anything at 50 MPH, even a fox, is bound to do something. Freaking annoyed about the whole thing.
My wife and I have three vehicles in the household, now all three are wearing scars from animals. I'm thinking I should move closer to the city.

I got a couple estimates from local shops and the bumper cover is crazy expensive. Estimates for fixing with replacing the bumper cover ranged from $950-$1100 with the bumper being $573.52-$702.12 of the cost. The second shop gave me an estimate where he repaired the bumper instead of replacing it by glueing/repainting the bumper and it came out to $550, so I think I am going to go with that for now. You will be able to tell the bumper has been repaired from the back, but I never look on the backside of my bumper :D

Any reason I shouldn't just have it repaired? All of the original plastic is there, so repairing it should be fairly easy.

I attached a pic for reference

As new as the car is get new parts and fresh paint to match...

But that's just me if you are happy with the fix and save $$ all the better :)

Damn! sorry this happened.. If this makes you feel any better my buddies girlfriend backed into the front of his car yesterday, (non ST) and his bumper cracked in three separate spots.

I would just have it patched and repainted. As long as it looked new from the outside, I would be good with it.
