Being an old school kind of guy, I prefer to use the manual mode to control the air temperature. Plus, I like to control which vents the air blows through - something that I cannot select in Auto mode. I have noticed that there is virtually no difference in the cabin air temperature when the control dial setting is anywhere between 18.5C and "HI"- it is just blows the same Hot air. This is with outdoor temperature hovering around -5C, so there is plenty of outside cold air to mix with air going through the heater core. If I set the control dial half a degree cooler at 18C, it changes to Cold - there is not gradient! Anyone else experienced this or am I using it the wrong way?
