Order went in 10/29 and got a call yesterday. the build is the week of 12/9.

The Focus ordered same day for my wife will be delivered the week of 12/9. I think they build them in Michigan.

I am very surprised that some of you are still waiting.
I see FiSTs all over the dealers' lots around here.

I couldve had one in black with only Rado grey wheels but I wanted white with recaros and moonroof

I ordered my personal FiST the end of October and am still waiting on a VIN. Fingers crossed, the car will be here by the end of January! White with Recaros and nav.

Hey Cobb. Exact car like mine. Still no eta on my car. I'm in Canada and supposedly we are only getting a few allocations a month. Keeping my fingers crossed

I do too, but none of them are what I want...They have all come with Recaros.
For an additional 2 grand i can get a full autocross coil-over suspension and a set of wheels and tires.

How long does it usually take from build date to delivery date?

Mine was built on Sept 6 and delivered Oct 24. My best guess would be 6-8 weeks. Check with Megan for updates.

And then while you are auto crossing you will be sliding all around in your seat.
Just kidding, I know you need to get what you want.
I chose not to have the moon roof and the dealers only seem to order fully loaded cars.

I got my VIN and a report that the car is sitting on shipping dock 5J. No delivery date yet. I ordered the last week of September.

No you don't slide around. That's a myth. Unless maybe you have all leather. There is enough bolstering in the FiST stock seats, especially for my wide rear end.

I have done enough instructing in schools and driving different cars to know the feel. This past year I competed with an Audi TT Quattro Coupe, MX-5, Focus SVT and Jetta GLI all with stock seat belts and don't remember having any problems.

Regardless, I use a 4 point race webbing belt set and always have...............

My order went in 10/29/13 and i have a delivery date on 1/7/14, so about 10 weeks. If I remember right that was what was reported when they first started delivery. Of course I'm prepared for the holidays extending. Just gotta get my winter wheels and tires ordered for the tire rack $40 rebate.

Well, we'll see for real when it actually starts. That's just the reports I have been given.

Did you ask Meagan at Fordservice for an update?
