Flashing ECU causes SYNC maintenance?

Anyone else have SYNC do a maintenance reset after flashing a new map? It sucks because it resets some of the settings such audio settings (occupancy mode resets to all seats vs driver only where I try to keep it). Is it just my car that does this?

Cobb, anything we can do to prevent this?

There is a note in the quick start guide that says this will happen so Cobb is aware. Not sure if they have any way or intention of avoiding it.

Are you saying you never see this or that it is expected behavior?

Yes, also hill assist and some audio settings reset because of the SYNC "maintenance." Hill Assist will reset to ON. Speaker balance will reset to "All Seats." Speed-sensitive volume will reset to 0.

Still doesn't mean we have to like it. I'm still going to keep asking them to fix it.

On my FiST, i find that the hill assist will reset to 'on' once in a while on it's own. Mine is all stock, no cobb accessport. Maybe it is just something about sync like a periodic thing or something.
