Do we get the railcar # from ETIS or will I need to call my dealer?
You will need to get that from your dealer.
When you call the railroad, only use the automated system.
If you get a response like there is no status.
It may be because that railcar is not on the railroad you are calling.
Call a different railroad.
E-mail from my dealer; it's arrived! Tuxedo Black, rims/calipres, Recaros (Canada).
I'm going after work today to test drive it, and they've told me I'd be able to drive it away tomorrow afternoon!
I've added specific instructions that a dealership sticker not be added to the car's body. License bracket is fine.
As per Meagan ETA of my FiST is 9/26
Congrats. My dealer said mine would be built this week. I checked with Meagan and she said its still in order processing! But to check back the week of the 16th... Ugh.
My ETA was September 18, and mine just arrived 12 days early! Something positive for you to keep in mind, regarding ETAs!
but if my salesman uses email instead of the phone for that event, I'll punch him.
We live in an electronic world! 99% of my communication with my salesman has been via e-mail as per my preference, so I appreciate that medium. My phone buzzed, and I received the news in the quickest possible way, for me.
Fricken AWESOME ! Pictures please
Hey, from date of shipment ,how many days in travel for your car to arrive in PG ?
Sweet TapTap like Xmas in Sept
I'll take a few snaps at the dealership while I test drive, with many more to follow once I take delivery.
Meagan's first PM indicating that it was "in transit" was August 15th. That's 22 days from receiving notice of transit, to notice of dealership arrival.
Refresh my weary brain was this a special order or a dealer order car? not that it matters still happy for ya
AND buyer of my GTI is picking it up tomorrow A/M, and then off to dealer to pick-up my "loaner"
Dealer stock. It was very close to what I had "built" myself, so I jumped on it.
Thank You and lookin forward to some car candy pic's
It would be nice if mine came in early
I couldn't wait any longer and took delivery of a Molten Orange with Ricaros, wheels and nav. Love it but cracked the windshield on the drive home from the dealer:-(
And they're still not even on the lots in Virginia.
