Does anyone know the material covering the A-pillars in the interior of the Fiesta ST? Is it cloth or a form of plastic? It is textured like a cloth weave but my guess is that it is a form of plastic but before I apply any kind of plastic or vinyl dressing like Vinylex I would like to confirm. Thanks!

In the Focus ST, it is a plastic cover but with a cloth like texturing. However, I don't have FiST nearby to check if it's the same..

It's some sort of cloth. I'd attach an "oh shit handle" except that the A-pillar also houses a goddamn airbag so applying or mounting anything to it is a challenge

Thanks guys. Unfortunately, looks like we have some conflicting information. Anyone out there with the tiebreaker? In the meantime, I'll be safe and detail with microfiber cloth damp with just water.

The A-pillars on the FiST are definitely hard plastic covered. My cell phone mount clips in very tightly. The air bags are in the head liner.
