Took mine to the track today. I have the 409 with kn drop in, no tune. A couple of the marshals I know complimented the sound.

Hoping some video pops up. As I set my camera up, red flag came out. 10km (two laps) of oil on the already wet track.

At least I got about 40 mins time before they closed it for the night.

So, first impression, it is sure loud and loud. I had to do some hanger bar bending in the rear. Just could not get a gap between the body work and the tips. It does have a drone over 3k rpm, but below that it is tollerable.

That's what I thought from the logo, but didn't want to guess. Nice job.

Thank you sir. This little muffler really helped. It still sounds good, but the drone is less head pounding.

I want to also add some sound absorbing material to the trunk, I think this should stop a lot of the resonance.

I would agree with you. Eastwood's products get pretty good reviews, but I don't have any experience with them, yet. They are pricey for what it is.

For now, I just turn my radio up. I may go def, but then I have a real excuse that I can't hear my wife.

Because they want us to listen to our wives?

BTW... Did you TIG the muffler in yourself? Did you back purge it?

I have the mbrp exhaust on my stage 3 fist and yes it's going to drone a lot. However there an easy fix for that and boomba sells a sound symposer delete which will really quiet it down inside the cabin substantially. The cobb exhaust is overpriced and weighs more than the mbrp.

Wait, what? The symposer doesn't contribute to drone...

It will quiet it down because i would get headaches driving on the highway.

Mine isn't bad. Highways where you're climbing mountains are a bit tough but the WOT sound is totally worth it.

Maybe some @raamaudio sound deadening in the trunk area?

Do you have a downpipe because just the exhaust is much louder with it.

    No downpipe yet.

Oh that's why. Big difference with that and when it's stage 3 it's annoying on the highway.
