I'm in Wyandotte, odd we haven't crossed paths yet.
Chipotle and Oberweis became the new hangout after Peet's closed and RO police started ticketing folks at Potbelly

I get to sneak in before the public on Saturday, so that will be cool getting to check everything out for a few hours before it gets packed.
I'm going can't wait
I am going Wednesday afternoon. I can't wait!!
I have a question for my fellow Metro Detroiters...
I have been hand washing my car since I got it, as I do not want to take it through a drive-thru car wash. I do not want to scratch the Tricoat Paint, as I have heard it is more sensitive to swirl marks than traditional paint jobs.
_Have any of you found a touch-less car wash in the area?
It is now cold / salty and I like to keep my car as clean as I can. I have been going to a self-wash, but I have to wait until the temp gets closer to 30. I am looking for a more convenient method of washing my car in the winter, if possible. Let me know if any of you feel my pain, and/or have a solution. Thanks!
Southgate has some on Northline in between fort at and dix has the best one that I know of
Thanks, I guess I should have specified I am up in Royal Oak...Southgate is a little far. I appreciate the quick response though!
Here's my take for what it's worth. I've autocrossed for over 35 years. Started out with a Porsche 924 and then a Porsche 924S (1988). Then (and now) a 1999 10AE Miata. All had modifications. I've almost never raced in stock. Usually CSP, TCSP and a few years in ASP with the 924S against a Viper and a Z06 Corvette (yeah, like that was fair). Don't even mention the 300HP AWD Subarus! Automatic 2 second disadvantage.
Anyway on occasion when one of those cars was broke I also autucrossed a Scirroco, an Escort GT and a 1995 Probe GT and while I hate to brag I did win a 16 car class with the Probe and one of the few times I ran in the stock class.
BUT of all those cars and all the fun I had the Fiesta ST is like and F18 compared to a Piper Cherokee. SERIOUSLY! I've never driven a faster car or one that handled better. And yes a few meager mods. Home made cold air feed, K+N filter, JS Performance tube between the air box and throttle body and yesterday I had the Flowmaster DBx muffler from my 2012 Fiesta SE welded in to replace the stock ST muffler.
Call me crazy, and I am a bit especially at 59 years old but I believe I hit 120 MPH at least 3 times today. And in the Kmart parking lot tonight I did a full doughnout on the way in and another on the way out.. Don't let anybody tell you that you can't have fun in your fifties and beyond! This car abosultely rocks!!
I could give a rats ass if you don't believe me. And to the gentleman that called me a douchebag in an earlier post? Can you please kiss my white pimply hemoroidal ass? I'll drop trough whenever you're ready. Goodnight gents!.
What is this guy talking about
Yeah, really, what aas hole!
Yeah, when you reply make sure you never do any research. I mostly competed in DCSCC events. Eric Penn Knows me. Whatever.
Here's my official goodbye. Adios muchachos. I seriously cannot believe the moderators allow such flamers to shoot crap right out of their assholes.
Good Riddance? I feel the same. Douchebags indeed.
I have no idea what you are talking about, but I feel like you might be on the wrong thread...
