Although I'm often mistaken for being a decade younger, I'm in my early 40's, so I suppose I'm somewhere in the middle.

Does that make me a Whipper-Farter?

So is that a fart with a (whip) crack at the end?
Or a crap at the end.

BTW, your signature does add a little to this post. ;)

Funny that the other forum is having a similar conversation, although it started a while ago. Then it stopped. I think the original participants forgot it was there. ;)

I'm just impressed so many of you fit your walkers in the FiST. :troll: Just try not to drive through an occupied starbucks wall when they let you out for your next day pass ! :mischievous:

Jokes aside. I honestly didn't really consider age range as a factor for this car though. Nor any car... I guess I've always kind of perceived automotive enthusiasm as something that disregards age as I don't think we out grow toys. Toys just get bigger, faster, more complex and more expensive. Although the great thing about the FiST is that it got smaller and cheaper (and still more fun) in my case.. lol

I'll be damned if anyone ever tells me I'm "too old" for a car. And I won't be too old to drive until the world has one less starbucks on account of my driving and/or napping.

P.S - - What is with this face?? :egg:

I have thought about this LONG and HARD.
I don't think I will outgrow the use of my FiST.

So considering I can't even drink yet, am I too young to have this car?

For many people, including a lot of us here, your automotive tastes don't change just because you age. If you like fun cars now, you'll like them when you're 65. What changes is peoples situation. If you got five kids, the Fiesta probably won't fit your lifestyle. If your old hips won't let you depress a clutch, then the ST is out. But if you can afford it, you generally get what you like. And I like the ST!

Nope. Never said anyone was too old or young for anything. Just making the statement that are quite a number of us "older gentlemen" driving FiSTs, as several of your generation have noted.

    Keith said it best.

Was joking. I am truly surprised by the age demographic of this site. It's probably better, otherwise it would be just a bunch of kids posting about doing silly things they've done with their cars. Now I can be assured that when people are doing silly things with their cars they are experienced!
