Just thought I'd throw a little invite on here incase anyone is local in SoCal. I'm heading out to cars and coffee in irvine this sat am. Heading out from IE area so depending on where you are, we can meet up on the way down or onsite. Also considering crusing pch after and maybe a run up ortega hwy as I've never been but have heard good things. If you have never been to cars and coffee I would def reccomend it. one of the best shows in socal that happens every sat am. anyway, post or pm me if you wanna come.

Great idea -- I agree! Sadly, I cannot make this event (friend's birthday party up north). Next time!

    I'm afraid I can't make it either.
However great idea, just another weekend.

Too many parts to install that I know I will not get done in time.

I also have a rabbit dinner to prepare for Sunday.

i'd go but it's very hard to motivate myself to be in Irvine at 4am on my saturday
also, it's my birthday Friday night so... I don't anticipate I will be capable of getting up.

I am local to Anaheim, CA for anyone wondering and I can be found daily 8-5 M-F at ModBargains in La Habra, CA on Lambert and Harbor. I invite you to swing by my shop and visit any time - I can almost always come talk to you about the Fiesta ST- just ask to talk to Nick.

I'm also pleased to announce that as of about 30 minutes ago ModBargains is officially a Forum Sponsor of

U can easily show up at 7 and make most of the show. Hangovers and cars and coffee often don't mix.

As much as I would love to piss those people off this may be good.

it is small gratification to flaunt your post-2000 4-door car against their 'rules' :-D

Good to know Nick. I'm probably going to have you guys install a delrin insert for the lower motor mount once it arrives in the mail from 2Jracing. I'm in Yorba Linda so I'm not too far from you guys. Any idea how much that service will cost?

Offhand, no, but since I don't think it's much actual labor time, based on looking at it, it can't be too bad.

I have a Rear Motor Mount coming in next week for my FiST that I'll be installing, hopefully same week I get it (I can't tell you whose yet) - and after fitting that I should have a better idea of how hard it actually is. I really don't think it's more than 2 hours of labor, in fact I'm pretty sure it's way under that.

Once you get it though give us a call and one of the Mod Experts, probably Jurrian, would be able to get you a quote and set an appointment for it, but absolutely it's something we'd be able to do comfortably do.

    BTW Happy B Day, Nick

If the rear mount is from the "S" Co. I can tell you how to make it work.

no, it's not anything that starts with S.
If you follow my posts it's pretty obvious whose it is and that it's the one everyone has been patiently waiting for.

also thanks for the Bday Wishes :)

    Crashing Cars & Coffee Irvine
    Saturday, April 26 at 4:30am
3 Glen Bell Way, Irvine CA 92618

The Facebook event is up. The C&C Irvine page lists an address on Gateway Blvd. Don't use it. the street name changed when Taco Bell moved in some time ago and the address you want is above (this will work in your Sync navigation).
