It has been at least a couple of weeks now that I've been driving on these coilovers so I just wanted to give my opinion on what I noticed so far. Unlike some other coilovers, the highest setting in the ride height is pretty close to stock. I believe ST states that it is .2 front and .4 rear lower than stock. In this case, it worked out for the bigger 18X8 wheels and 215/40 tires I threw on. I might try the 215/35 size next time though to see if there is a big difference in comfort/performance. Without changing the factory rebound setting on the XTA, I noticed that the suspension soaked up the majority of the bumps and imperfections on the road and freeway. It reminded me of how my previous Fiesta SE drove like; extremely smooth and comfortable. I noticed that the front rebound was set at the softest setting which would be great for commuting and long travels but at a sacrifice to performance driving. Note that only the front struts have adjustable rebound settings. After experimenting with the different settings, I settled with the rebound set at two clicks out from the stiffest setting. That worked perfect for my driving style. I'm able to put more power to the ground through the turns and it just hooks up! I noticed that there is a little more body roll compared to when I had the H&R springs but a set of anti roll bars should help that. For more aggressive and track focused drivers though I believe that they might want a stiffer spring rate. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with what this suspension set has done for me and my car. It has taken away almost all of the extremely harsh ride of the OEM set-up. I now look forward to taking this car to Las Vegas next week!
