hi my st has a knockin sound when i brake and when i go over bumps any ideas thanks
It is too new to have problems.
Take it back to the dealer.
Check to be sure your lug nuts are tight. Otherwise do as D1JL suggests.
its a 55 plate st boys its not the new one
What is that, service for 11?
Try not to carry around so much china, its bound to rattle.
This forum is primarily American and Canadian owners for whom the new ST is the only ST. Might not be the best place to get advice on the previous models!
That rattel is me rattelin ur wife
We aren't all boys here! What the heck is a 55 plate ST?
Really appropriate. This forum doesn't have time for bs... We need mods here to delete this stuff and yes respect the girls on this site there are a few.
I think this is the 12 year old you thought I was haha
I believe ## plate is a way they can refer to cars from a certain year/area in the UK.
Yep, his plate indicates that he has the previous gen 2.0l FiST.
Since it's not a brand new car, sounds like it might be ball joints. I don't know a lot about Fiestas as far as fixing them, but I got a knocking when going over bumps in my current car and it turned out to be bad ball joints.
No, I think he's a caterer.
He probably met my wife at a buffet.
Knocking when going over bumps can also be blown shocks.
u don't know what ur talkin about my st is a 300bhp racing car it smokes the eco boost in reverse u muppit
Try using your forward gears.
Hahahaha yup and you mean 12 year old boy I thought you were
I just think that is funny that a person can ask for help and then ridicule or antagonize people that try to give it.
My only advise now would be,
Don't brake or go over bumps.
these are some of the best comments you have made to date.
I would also be careful as to where this guy wants to put his hand.
