That is funny -- they say "all events run, rain or shine!". Snow could be interesting.

I was more keying on low turnout. We now have 12 cars. I think this will be great! I figure we'll end up with about 20-30 cars (at this sign-up pace) and a very relaxed set of track runs. Remember, this is Super Bowl Sunday. Most people will be watching the big game. I don't have a horse in that race. This is my favorite day to plan something like this. :)

What about "chalituna" and "Max Archer"?
They are both close and $90.00 is so worth it.

Hey guys still planning on going, should be signing up this weekend. And thanks Dave for the discount code thats great. Car will be pretty stock except for new break fluid and oil change. But will give me a good base to start with

Excellent! The plan is to be there no later than about 07:00. I figure it's about two hours from Long Beach, so I'll probably hit the road around 04:30.

    Three so far!

I'm really glad you can make it!

My real plan was to bolt on some Wilwoods brakes, but I might get hooked up on this from a different source -- so I'll wait.

In the meantime, I was thinking about changing the fluid and maybe grabbing some SS lines. I am a big fan of Motul 600, but I haven't used that in a while. What fluid are you using?

Yeah used Motul before in my Subie, liked it no problems, will use it again

    BTW,
It might be a good idea to meet up for breakfast.
The Saugus Café comes to mind.

Breakfast sounds great. I'm toying with idea of spending the night up there on Saturday. Maybe even squaring away the race fuel then too.

No good places to eat or lodge in Rosemond.
You would be better off staying in Lancaster.
Breakfast would have to be on the way up.
    That leaves us with Denney's.
The Saugus Café opens at 5:00AM on Sunday and breakfast is GREAT.

I am planning to be there in the MP275 Focus barring some unforeseen schedule change. It sounds like fun.

That would be great! It looks like we'll have a few other FiSTs there too. ;)

I'd love to but I've got other stuff going on.

I've run several events at SoW with Extreme Speed and they're great. I know many of the instructors too. The coolest thing they do is the night trackdays during the summer, I've done a couple and they're a blast. (Plus you don't have to get up at 4am to be there on time!)

    That's too bad.
We now have 3 FiSTs and 1 FoST.
I am sure it will be a fun time for all.

Wish I still lived in So. Cal. We're getting a nice snow storm here later today and I wish I could go with you guys.
